Christmas Break!

This Christmas break I plan on just sittin' back and relaxing and going to Christmas parties. Of course, after Christmas Day, basketball practice starts so that's something I have to go to. We're going to have to start running ladders again, that's something I'm looking forward to for sure. Hah, I don't think so, I hate running ladders. There's nothing that I really plan on doing that is out of the ordinary, other than ladders... don't do those every Christmas break.

Basketball Season!!

Basketball season started a couple of weeks ago and our first game is Tuesday @ Blissfield. I hope to see all of you there... in the student section, cheering your hearts out, because it is sure to be a great game and us basketball players really appreciate our fans coming to support us. Some of us may not show it alot, but we really do appreciate it... ALOT! Tuesday will be our new coach's, Coach Disbrow, first game coaching varsity basketball and our first game playing for him. Well, the seniors anyway it will be our first game under him but the juniors this year played for him last year on JV so it won't be their first. Alot of people complain about the running we have to do... I've got news for you, I have to do that running too and you don't see me complaining. I dislike it just as much as anyone, but you have to understand that it's necessary to be in condition to be successful in basketball, I mean you saw how tired we were at the scrimmage... we obviously need to condition. However, relax, once we get rollin' in the season our conditioning will be reduced greatly, but as for now while you're running don't think about how tired you're getting, or how bad your legs hurt, just think about how we're going to dominate the other team in the fourth quarter.... and on Tuesday that's going to be Blissfield! Have a great day and a pleasant tomorrow!

Why You Should Vote for McCain

If i could vote this election, I most certainly would be voting for John McCain. My reasons being:
  • HE'S PRO-LIFE
  • He has experience
  • He's not a wealth spreader
  • He has a great policy on the Iraq war
  • He has a good policy on Illegal Immigrants
  • His vice president is an absolute HOTTIE!! =], no but seriously look what she's done for Alaska

Now I'll talk a little bit about each one of these issues. Pro-life, that means NO ABORTION, it's completely unethical and irresponsible. If you wanna have unprotected sex, great, by all means go ahead, I'm not gonna stop you. But don't come crying when you get yourself knocked up, you have to deal with the consequences of your actions. As for back ally abortions, sure that's gonna happen if abortion is illegal, but I say we can't just have it so that people can use it as a form of birth control. And absolutely more lives will not be at risk if we make this illegal because, how many back ally abortionist do you know? Anybody reading this I can gaurantee you don't know a single one. In places around the country just like mine, here in sand creek, people won't know anyone there either. After you have the baby, you can put it up for adoption, there are many couples out there that would love to love and raise your child. I'm wasting a lot of class time writing this so I really only have time for one more issue. I'll talk about wealth spreading. McCain's opponent Barack Obama wants to tax the people that work hard for their money and become rich from their own blood, sweat and tears to pay higher taxes and give that money to the poor... who are to dang lazy to go out and get a job and make their own dang money, instead they are going to rely on someone else who works hard to provide for his or her family and create the best life for them to give them a cut from their paycheck..... I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET A JOB YOU LAZY PIECES OF (fill in the blank)!

Addison Here We Come!

We play Addison this week, and it's on Halloween no less. There's gonna be alot of people there, I hope to see everyone there, although I won't be looking for everyone, I'll feel your presence... ;-) so I'll know if you're there or not. If (when) we win, we will play the winner of Reading and Summerfield. If Reading wins we will play Reading at Reading, and if Summerfield wins, we will play Summerfield here at home. This, of course, is all presuming that we come out victorious Friday night. Have a great day! My thoughts and prayers are with you Grandpa.

We Beat Morenci!

Hahahaha, we demolished Morenci. I didn't have the greatest game but we won so that's all that counts. I wish coach would leave me in the game on 3rd down or 4th down, but whatever he thinks is best for the team I guess. I would like to catch more than one ball a game, but that's very selfish of me, so whatever is best for the team I can roll with. This week is Madison, with a win (which we definately should win) we will clinch the t.c.c. title outright and possibly home field for the first playoff game, which we have already clinched a spot in with our win over Morenci last friday. This friday is also my sister Grace's birthday, she's turning 6 years old, I guess I'm gonna have to score a touchdown for her so I can see her smiling face come running up to me after the game. I hope to see all of you at the game on friday so you can witness our demolishing of Madison and the clinching of the Tri-County Conference Championship. Have a great day!

Morenci Week

This week is Morenci week. I hope all of you are coming. It's only the biggest rivalry at this school, so you better be there. Morenci is 3-4, 2-3 in the T.C.C. They have no chance to make it to the playoffs, so the only thing they have to look forward to is to beat "The Creek". Which by the way was written on Whitemore Lake's bus they came down in. That didn't happen did it? But anyways, back to Morenci, it is sure to be a great game with lots of excitement and emotion. We all remember what happened last year, right? That's not gonna happen again. Also, the Red Wings have officially started the regular season. They played last night and beat the Carolina Hurricanes. NHL hockey is my absolute favorite sport to watch. College football is a very close second though.

Did anybody watch the Michigan game?

I did! For those of you who didn't... Michigan won. They were down 19-0 after the first half. They came back to win it 27-25 on a failed two-point conversion by the Wisconsin Badgers (who were ranked #9 in the nation). They were helped out by Brandon Minor's run for a touchdown and then Wisconsin's first offensive play after that touchdown was intercepted and ran back for another touchdown. Before the game most people were completely giving up on the wolverines this year... but not me! "Disappointed but not discouraged," those were the words by Coach Rich Rodriguez before the game against Wisconsin. I believe those words hold true for me as well. I was disappointed in the performance of my Wolverines up until this previous Saturday, but I was not discouraged, I still hold faith in my Wolverines with Stevie Threet at the helm. Lookout Ohio State your next. And for you Michigan State fans... what happens every year since the last what 5 or 6 years? Oh that's right Michigan has won. Have a great day and a pleasant tomorrow.

Football Season

It's week five and we're at whiteford on friday. Can't wait for friday nights, they're the best. We beat clinton last friday 40-30 for those of you who weren't there. We started their clinton fall festival off the right way I'd say. A couple of us went to the volleyball tournament on saturday. We got a yellow card!!! It was only because we were so loud and the Quincy fans.... and players (number 3) were havin' a fit. So one time when a Quincy girl was serving we were doing our usual hand wavin' thing or whatever and this one guy in a yellow shirt, a coincidence I think not, threw a temper tantrum and got us a yellow card. The best thing though was that the Union City fans cheered for us as we left the gym and they told us that we were awesome... getting up at 6:00 in the morning was definately worth it. Good job that day girls! Even though it didn't turn out the way we may have wanted it, I am still happy I went.

Senior Year

Well we're three weeks into senior year now and only 6 gauranteed football games left. Clinton on friday, we'll win for sure. Fall starts on monday, I hope it gets colder because I love playin' football in cold weather. And pretty much cold weather is WAAAYYYY better than hot weather and I dare anyone to disagree with me. I'd rather be freezing than sweating. I'm really tired right now, I only got 5 hours of sleep last night because I was working on my physics project which hopefully works next hour. Can't wait for the weekend, especially friday night. But who can? Probably no one. Saturday is the volleyball tournament in Union City, hour and a half drive, but it's worth it. =] Have a great day and a pleasent tomorrow!
